Gugulethu Mbatha (better known by the name Gugu-Mbatha Raw) is a British actor and film actress who gained fame after she appeared in a series of 'Doctor Who, an iconic British Sci-fi television show airing on the BBC. Gugu made headlines for her character Tish Jones. She was a younger sister role played by Martha Jones. Gugu's viewers loved her spontaneity and was soon heading towards an extensive acting career. The actress has been involved in several other British stage and television projects to date. The beginning of her career Handler began her professional career as part of the Oxygen network all-female cast for Hidden Camera/Practical Joke Reality show on TV called Girls Behaving Poorly. From 2002 to 2005, it was on air. The host began appearing in different shows like Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler began her work on The Tonight Show as a correspondent. Handler's biggest breakthrough was in the year 2006, after she started hosting her own program on E! it was dubbed The Chelsea Handler Series. It lasted for two seasons. Handler then performed in America as part of the Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend, HBO and Comedy Central have all aired her stand-up performances. In 2010 she was informed that she was to host this year's MTV Video Music Awards. By doing this, she was only the second host female ever to do so, after Roseanne.
